Holiday Hours
To give our employees time to spend with their families, some holidays result in an altered schedule for pickups of garbage and recycling. Accordingly, you can view the altered dates for pickups for upcoming holidays below.
Winter Holiday2025 Pickup Schedule
Holiday Overview
The Lycoming County Resource Center will be on a compressed schedule on December 24th, December 25th, December 31st, and January 1st for the Christmas and new year holiday. Due to this schedule change, Fisher’s Disposal will be picking up your garbage on the following days. These changes are for the Christmas and New Year’s holiday only. We will return to our normal schedule the week of January 5, 2026.
Garbage Pickup
- If your normal garbage pickup is on Monday, December 22nd and Monday, December 29th, your garbage pickup will be on Sunday, December 21st and Sunday, December 28th.
If your normal garbage pickup is on Tuesday, December 23rd and Tuesday, December 30th, your garbage pickup will be on Monday, December 22nd and Monday, December 29th.
If your normal garbage pickup is on Wednesday, December 24th and Wednesday, December 31st, your garbage pickup will be on Monday, December 22nd and Monday, December 29th.
If your normal garbage pickup is on Thursday, December 25th and Thursday, January 1st, your garbage pickup will be Tuesday, December 23rd and Tuesday, December 30th.
Friday garbage pickup will remain normal pickup on Friday, December 26th.
Recycling Pickup
If your normal recycling pickup is the fourth Monday of the month, your recycling pickup will be on Sunday, December 21st.
If your normal recycling pickup is the fourth Tuesday of the month, your recycling pickup will be on Sunday, December 21st.
If your normal recycling pickup is the fourth Wednesday of the month, your recycling pickup will be on Tuesday, December 23rd.
If your normal recycling pickup is the first Thursday of the month, your recycling pickup will be on Tuesday, December 30th.
If your normal recycling pickup is the fourth Thursday of the month, your recycling pickup will be on Tuesday, December 23rd.
Friday recycling pickup is normal pickup on Friday, December 26th.
PLEASE PLACE YOUR GARBAGE AND RECYCLING OUT THE NIGHT BEFORE AS THE TRUCKS MAY BE IN YOUR AREA EARLIER THAN NORMAL.
